Odiongan Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic on Saturday, April 9, reiterated her public and glowing endorsement of presidentiable VP Leni Robredo during the local candidates forum held in Odiongan.
Asked who will she support and why? Fabic said that everyone already knew it.
“I have publicly endorsed Vice President Leni Robredo here on this very stage. I am the only incumbent Mayor to have than so, wala pong ibang naglakas ng loob although alam ko ‘yung iba ay sumusuporta din,” the mayor said.
“Ako po ay naniniwala na si VP Leni Robredo ang dapat na susunod na Presidente ng Pilipinas dahil sa kanyang track record, maganda ang kanyang napatunayan. Kumbaga, mataas ang kanyang rating sa COA. Makikita natin na kahit maliit ang budget niya [OVP], marami po siyang natutulungan at kasama na ang Odiongan jan,” the mayor added.
She also reiterated that the Vice President visited the town three times and brought up to P6.6-million worth of projects to the province.
“Out of that [P6.6-million], kalahati dito sa bayan ng Odiongan para sa ating magsasaka at mangingisda,” she added.
“Kilala ko po siya personally for the past few years, napakabait po, palagi siyang concern, para po siyang Nanay at sa tingin ko magiging Nanay siya sa buong Pilipinas kung siya ang maging Presidente natin,” the mayor said.
In the end, the Mayor said that the Vice President is her inspiration.
“Ang masasabi ko lang, VP Leni Robredo is an inspiration for me and my leadership and with leaders like her we are assured of good governance and development for our country,” according to Fabic.
