Malacanang expects the Executive Order (EO) on the freedom of information (FOI) to be signed on Friday in line with the government’s policy of transparency.
Presidential Communications Operation Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar said the draft EO on FOI would be ready Thursday night.
“By the Grace of God, it will be signed (by President Rodrigo Duterte) Friday,” he said in a statement.
Andanar earlier said the order would require government offices under the executive branch to release details of their transactions. (PNA)
