Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Director Police Brigadier General Sidney Hernia assures that necessary security measures and police deployment in the entire region are already in place for the start of classes on August 22.
“The intensified security measures are aimed at preventing crimes and ensuring that police intervention is in place to diffuse other lawless incidents on school premises ahead of the start of classes next week”, PBGen Hernia said.
The MIMAROPA top cop issued the order in consonance with the directive of the PNP Chief Police General Rodolfo S Azurin, Jr to enhance security measures for the opening of the face-to-face classes.
“We are also expecting that more people will be going out not only in schools but also in other public places when physical classes are fully implemented. That is why I have also directed all field commanders to strictly implement the Minimum Public Health Protocols to deter the possible resurgence of COVID-19 infection along with their anti-criminality measures”, PBGen Hernia assured. – RPIO MIMAROPA
