The Romblon State University joined the 23rd AAACU Biennial Conference and General Assembly cum 50th AAACU anniversary with the theme “Revolutionizing Agricultural Innovations Towards Social Sustainability” in Chiangmai, Thailand on July 4-8, 2022.
Dr. Emelyn F. Montoya, Vice President for Research, Extension, Development, and Innovation together with Mr. Juniel G. Lucidos, Director of Planning and Development Office, Dr. Alfredo F. Fortu Jr., Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, Dr. Philip R. Baldera, Dean of the Graduate Education and Professional Studies and Mr. Ricky Michael M. Oliva, Head PDO Data and Information Management Unit represented the university in the said event.
The week-long conference is an eminent event for institutional leaders involved in the advancement of agriculture education. It also served as another opportunity for an extensive exchange of knowledge and information among member institutions, one that will both inspire and educate, this time on their experiences in offering agricultural innovations towards social sustainability.
Sharing practical experiences among the member institutions served as platform to allow for a more meaningful consolidation of knowledge.
During the conference, the university also spoke about Knowledge-Sharing Among Academics together with other universities including the Tokyo University of Agriculture, Western Philippines University, Mariano Marcos State University, and the University of Rizal System. The said event will end on July 8, 2022.
