They will be assigned to the different department offices in the LGUs to assist in the encoding data, sorting of documents, and other office work.
In a press statement, DOLE Romblon chief Carlo Villaflores reminded the LGUs to strictly follow the minimum health and safety precautions like wearing of face mask and face shield at all times, ensure social distancing, and practicing frequent sanitization during implementing the program.
The Special Program for the Employment of Students is DOLE’s youth employment – bridging program which aims to provide temporary employment to poor but deserving students, out-of-school youth, and dependents of displaced or would – be displaced workers during summer and or Christmas vacation or any time of the year to augment the family’s income to help ensure that beneficiaries are able to pursue their education, particularly during this pandemic.
