The town of Looc in Romblon on Tuesday evening announced that they recorded 6 new local Covid-19 cases in their municipality.
Town’s Public Information Office said that the new cases were closed-contacts of their first local case.
“This means that we already have community transmission in Looc,” the PIO said.
“All close contacts will be taken to isolation facilities and subjected to RT PCR saliva test,” the statement added.

Looc now has seven (7) active Covid-19 cases wherein all of these are local transmission.
Meanwhile, the LGU is still waiting for about 26 test results from the laboratory including the two senior citizens who are both confined at Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital earlier.
