Tragedy struck in the quiet town of Baco when Marina Bacay Garcia, wife of a barangay chairman candidate, was fatally shot in her home.
The incident occurred around 2:10 a.m., when Garcia’s lifeless body was found by her son.
Initial reports indicate that a dog’s barking was followed by a gunshot.
