Three priests, who are also climbers, from Romblon and Capiz held a mass at the summit of Mt. Guiting-Guiting on Sibuyan Island, Romblon recently.
According to Father Albert John Fietas of the Diocese of Romblon, this is his second time this year climbing the summit of Mt. Guiting-Guiting. He has long dreamed of conducting a mass at the summit.
“I asked God for 30 minutes to stop the rain; he gave us one hour and a 360-degree view of Sibuyan Island,” said Father Albert.
