RSU-Quality Assurance Office via Dr. Emelyn Montoya just announced that Romblon State University has been awarded the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems.
RSU Main Campus and all its 8 Satellite Campuses are now ISO certified effective January 4, 2022.
TUV Rheinland, the ISO certifying body, made the recommendation after two audit stages were undertaken on November 3 to 4, 2021.
President Merian P. Catajay-Mani set the road to RSU ISO certification as a priority, cognizant of the University’s seal of Honor and Excellence.
ISO 9001 is an international standard for quality management systems that demonstrates an organization’s capacity to consistently deliver high-quality products and services that fulfill the needs of its stakeholders.
RSU’s processes are in compliance with the requirements of its functions and the quality management system in place, according to ISO auditors.
