Trina Firmalo-Fabic, currently in her last term as the Mayor of Odiongan, officially submitted her Certificate of Candidacy to the Commission on Elections, signaling her intention to run for governor of the province in the upcoming elections.
Accompanied by her running mate, Rodne Galicha, who is vying for the vice governorship, Fabic expressed her commitment to bringing the “Serbisyong May Puso” trademark to the province, which she believes will significantly benefit every Romblomanon.
During her three terms as mayor, Fabic has made considerable strides in enhancing various aspects of Odiongan, including business development, job creation, reducing the number of malnourished children, and providing numerous opportunities for residents.
She has also improved the medical services in Odiongan, implemented a strict “no helmet, no driving” ordinance, and ensured that assistance reaches all students in the municipality.
Fabic’s gubernatorial bid will see her facing incumbent Governor Jose Riano and former Magdiwang Mayor Jollie Monton in the electoral race.
