There are seasons in life when we wonder why nothing seems to be changing.
We pray, but the answer feels delayed. We work, but the results are nowhere in sight. We watch other people move forward while we feel like we are standing in the same place.
But Scripture reminds us that God works through seasons.
Hannah had a season of emptiness and tears. She prayed for something her heart deeply desired, and for a long time, she had to wait. Yet God eventually turned her prayers into praise.
Ruth had a season of gleaning in another person's field. She was simply doing what she could with what she had. She couldn't see the future God was preparing for her.
Esther had a season when she had to be brave enough to speak. She couldn't have known how God would use her voice to protect her people.
None of them knew what their next season would look like.
They simply had to trust the God who already knew.
Maybe you're in a waiting season right now.
Maybe you feel like you're falling behind because your life doesn't look the way you thought it would. Maybe you're comparing your chapter to someone else's highlight reel.
But your current season is not the conclusion of your story.
You are not forgotten.
You are not behind.
You are not stuck.
You are simply in a season that God is still using.
Sometimes, God allows us to experience seasons we would never choose because He is preparing something we cannot yet understand. The waiting is not wasted. The quiet is not meaningless. The process is not punishment.
God sees the whole story while we can only see one page.
So keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep showing up.
Keep believing, even when you cannot see what is coming next.
The God who was faithful to Hannah, Ruth, and Esther has not changed.
He is still writing stories that we cannot fully understand while we are living them.
And when the season changes, you may look back and realize that God was working even when you thought nothing was happening.
Perhaps what feels like a delay today is actually preparation for tomorrow.
Perhaps what feels like standing still is actually God strengthening your roots.
Perhaps this season isn't about how quickly you get to where you're going, but about who you become along the way.
So don't rush the season you're in.
Trust God's timing.
You are not behind. You are becoming. You are growing. You are being prepared.
And in God's perfect time, you will understand why you had to wait. 🤍
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
