“Be still, and know that I am God.”

There are moments when we pray and hear nothing.
We ask God for direction, but the answer doesn't come immediately. We ask Him to change our situation, yet everything seems to remain the same. In those moments, it is easy to wonder if God is listening.
But silence does not mean absence.
Sometimes, God is working in ways we cannot see. We often want God to show us the entire plan, but He usually asks us to trust Him one step at a time.
The Bible is filled with people who experienced seasons of waiting. They didn't always understand what God was doing. Yet their stories remind us that God's silence was never proof that He had forgotten them.
Maybe you are waiting for something right now.
Maybe you're waiting for an answered prayer, a new opportunity, healing in a relationship, or clarity about your future.
Do not let the silence convince you that nothing is happening.
A seed grows beneath the soil long before anyone sees its fruit. In the same way, God can be working beneath the surface of our lives, even when we cannot see the evidence yet.
So today, instead of asking only, “When will this change?” perhaps we can also ask, “Lord, what are You teaching me while I wait?”
Because sometimes, the blessing is not only in what God gives us at the end of the season. Sometimes, it is in who we become while we wait.
The waiting can teach us patience.
The silence can teach us trust.
The uncertainty can teach us faith.
And the moments when we have no answers can draw us closer to the One who holds every answer.
So keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep showing up.
Keep believing.
You may not see the whole picture yet, but God does.
And even when the answer seems delayed, the path seems unclear, and heaven feels quiet, remember this:
God is still present.
God is still faithful.
God is still working.
Sometimes, faith means trusting God not only when He speaks, but also when He asks us to be still.
Because even in the silence,
He is still God. 🤍
