The MIMAROPA Kabalikat Inc. (MKI) Radio Communications Volunteer Group celebrated its third founding anniversary on March 15, 2025, at Rungguan Beach Resort. The event brought together volunteers from the 801-Odiongan, 802-Alcantara, and 803-Ferrol chapters to mark a year of growth and service.
The anniversary celebration was attended by special guests of honor, Hon. Trina Alejandra Firmalo-Fabic, and Engr. Roger Fodra, who shared inspiring messages emphasizing the significance of community volunteerism and the vital role of disaster preparedness in local communities.
One of the key moments during the event was the election and induction of new officers for the 801 Chapter, who will serve from 2025 to 2028.
The newly elected officers took an oath to continue improving the chapter’s communication systems and to extend their assistance in both emergency response and community activities.
The event was further highlighted by the unveiling of a commemorative marker, led by Rev. Father Mar Maulion, symbolizing the group’s ongoing dedication to service and its continuous growth.
Representatives from each chapter presented their accomplishment reports, showcasing their significant contributions over the past year.
