San Andres has received a new patrol car that will enhance the local police’s response and patrolling capabilities.
The new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicle was officially turned over to the San Andres Municipal Police Station on September 9 by PBGEN Roger Quesada, Regional Director of PRO MIMAROPA, replacing the station’s old and damaged Mahindra patrol car.
This new patrol vehicle will significantly improve the efficiency of the local police force by enabling faster response times during emergencies and better patrolling of the town’s areas, especially those that are more remote.
In addition to the new patrol car, the San Andres Municipal Police Station also received dirt bikes for enhanced mobility, particularly in areas where the terrain is more challenging for traditional vehicles. Other nearby towns—Banton, Calatrava, Corcuera, Magdiwang, and Santa Fe—will also receive similar dirt bikes.
