The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Romblon, in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Odiongan, organized a one-day Micro-, Small-, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSME) clinic to enhance the digital presence, product development, and loan facilitation for local businesses.
The event is part of DTI’s National MSME Week 2024 celebration.
Rocky Lee Moscoso, Head of the Business Development Division of DTI Romblon, highlighted the MSME Week theme, “Innovate to Elevate,” and stressed the importance of businesses staying ahead of trends by embracing new technologies, processes, and ideas to achieve growth and sustainability.
Discussed during the event were the advantages of adopting digital platforms and guided MSMEs in setting up mobile POS systems and online stores. DTI also provided consultancy services focused on product development and outlined various loan programs available to MSMEs.
Participants received comprehensive consultancy services on setting up mobile stores, product development, loan application processes, and trademark registration.
Provincial Director Orville Mallorca expressed his gratitude to the MSMEs for their active participation in the week-long activities. He reaffirmed DTI’s unwavering commitment to supporting MSMEs in their journey towards innovation and growth.
