The provincial government has announced the temporary closure of the Balatucan-Anahao road connecting the towns of Looc, Ferrol, and Odiongan.
This closure is necessitated by the ongoing repair work on the Recto bridge.
Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Jun Bernardo conveyed in a phone call on Saturday that the road will be inaccessible for a duration of two weeks, starting from January 31.

“Governor [Jose] Riano is expediting the repair of the bridge. The approach gave way due to the recent flooding,” Bernardo explained.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during this period.
