Inanunsyo ng Land Transportation Office Romblon ang mga bagong requirements para makakuha o makapag renew ng driver licence sa kanilang opisina.
Dalawa sa mga bagong requirments para sa mga kukuha ng professional driver licence ay ang NBI at Police Clearance.
Ang nasabing bagong requirments ay utos umano ng LTO main office sa Manila at walang karapatan ang mga provincial office upang baguhin o suspendihin ito.
Patuloy naman ang paalala ng LTO-Romblon na sa P3,000 ang multa sa mga driver na mahuhuling nagmamaneho na expired o walang driver licence at P10,000 naman kung expired na ang licence ng sasakyang minamaneho.
Ano ang mga kailangan upang makakuha ng Student Driver’s Permit?
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Original and photocopy of birth certificate duly authenticated by National Statistics Office (NSO)
- Parental/Guardian’s concen (if below 18 years old) with photocopy of valid government issued ID of parent/guardian.
- Medical Certificate
- For foreigners, photocopy of passport/visa
Ano ang mga kailangan upang makakuha ng Non-Professional Driver’s Licence (NPDL)
New
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Holder of valid SP (Student Permit) for atleast 30 days from date of application
- Medical Certificate
- For foreigners, original photocopy of passport with entry of at least 1 month and visa duration of at least 1 year
Renewal
- NPDL, not expired for more than 10 years
- Medical Certificate

- Valid NPDL

Ano ang mga kailangan upang makakuha ng Professional Driver’s Licence (PDL)
New
- Must be atleast 18 years old
- For Restriction Code (RC) 1, 2, 4, and 6: Holder of valid SP (at least 6 months from date of application). For Restriction Code 3, 5, 7, and 8: Holder of NPDL issued at least 1 year prior to application of PDL with RC 1, 2, 4, and 6 for a period of atleast 6 months prior to the application.

- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
- Philippine National Police (PNP) Clearance
- For foreigners, original and photocopy of passport with entry of at leat 1 month and visa duration of at least 1 year.
Renewal
- PDL not expired for more than 10 years
- Medical Certificate
- National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
- Philippine National Police (PNP) Clearance
