Twenty-six farmers associations in the province of Romblon received recently specialized training from the Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program to sharpen their skills and knowledge on crop, livestock, and poultry production with the use of modern technologies.
The sessions were participated by more than 600 farmers from the municipalities of Alcantara, Calatrava, Concepcion, Ferrol, San Andres, Santa Maria, and San Jose, Romblon.
They were trained on diverse agricultural topics such as crop production, animal care, and agripreneurship as mandatory courses for the beneficiaries before accepting the livelihood projects.
