In a recent discourse, Romblon State University (RSU) shed light on the paramount importance of research today.
During the Kapihan sa PIA Romblon, Engr. Jerome Gacu, the Director of RSU’s Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Office, stressed that research does not merely reside within the confines of academia but extends its impact into various sectors, including technology, healthcare, agriculture, economics, and others.
“Research will play a significant role for Odiongan, Romblon, and the entire country as it supports the information we need, especially when proposing something that hasn’t been thoroughly studied,” Gacu said.
Gacu added that through your research, you can develop policies to be implemented in a certain field.
Currently, RSU focuses on different research programs that will help the province like research in aquaculture, seaweeds, agriculture, technology, and more.
