Volunteers and government employees in the municipality of Odiongan came together to participate in the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month.
National Disaster Resilience Month is observed every July, in accordance with Executive Order No. 29, issued in 2017.
As part of the celebration, volunteers and members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) held a parade around the town to raise public awareness about disasters, especially in light of the recent series of earthquakes experienced in the area in the past month.
