The Provincial Government of Romblon recently conducted a benchmarking activity in Alaminos City, focusing on the exchange of best practices and the implementation of various programs and policies in different sectors. The visit aimed to learn from the successful initiatives of Alaminos City and explore ways to apply them in Romblon.
During the benchmarking activity, several topics were discussed, including Solid Waste Management, Dialysis Center Operation, E-Kawayan Production, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Tourism Development, Management of the Hundred Islands National Park, and the ISO certification of the local government.

The Alaminos City local government expressed their appreciation for the visit and the selection of their city as the benchmarking destination. They welcomed the Romblon Provincial Government’s interest in learning from their experiences and expressed their readiness to support future collaborations and exchanges.
