The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) organized a Fisherfolks Meet and Greet event for local fishermen in the Municipality of Santa Maria recently.
The program aimed to introduce the newly appointed OIC-Provincial Fishery Officer, Sheryll Montesa of BFAR-PFO Romblon.

As part of the event, fifty (50) fishermen received fishing paraphernalia from the agency.
The gathering was attended by Engr. Ramel Fabon, OIC-Municipal Agriculturist, Engr. Al Fetalver, OIC-Provincial Agriculturist, and Sir Roberto R. Abrera, Chief of the Fisheries Production and Support Services Division (FPSSD) of BFAR MIMAROPA.
