Recently, the Department of Labor and Employment Romblon Provincial Office and the Local Government Unit of Odiongan as its Accredited Co-Partner awarded Negokarts to ten local food cart vendors in their town amounting to P300,000.
During a short program, Odiongan Mayor Trina Firmalo-Fabic emphasized the importance of giving livelihood grants for economic stability and sustainable livelihood.

The initiative is part of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), which provides assistance through grants to individuals and groups and can be used to start a livelihood project and expand or upgrade an existing project.
