Vice President Leni Robredo on Thursday visited Romblon province especially the town of Odiongan, for the third time since elected as the second high-ranking official of the Philippines.
Robredo together with Francis Kiko Pangilinan attended a campaign rally in Odiongan after visiting some projects of the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
“Ito po gaya ng sabi ni Mayor Trina, tatlong beses na po akong bumabalik sa Romblon hindi pa po ata kasama noong nangangampanya ako [noong 2016 election],” Robredo said during her speech infront of an estimated croud of 10,000 persons.
Before she attended the campaign rally, Robredo visited a learning hub in Alcantara where students can access free internet, and ask for tutors.
According to the OVP, they opened at least six (6) community learning hubs in the province since the start of the pandemic.
The vice president also visited a group of fisherfolks in Looc, Romblon where she shares her priority programs for their sector.
