May aabot sa 188 na mga pulis sa Romblon Police Provincial Office (RPPO) ang na-promote sa bagong rango nitong Lunes.
Sa lahat ng Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) na na-promote sa Romblon, 6 rito ay naging Police Executive Master Sergeant, 3 ay Police Chief Master Sergeant, at 3 naman ay Police Senior Master Sergeant. Walo naman sa kanila ay naging Police Master Sergeant, 91 ay naging Police Staff Sergeant, at 77 ang naging Police Corporal.
Pinangunahan ni Police Colonel Arvin Molina, hepe ng Romblon Police Provincial Office, ang donning of ranks para sa mga bagong promote habang guest speaker naman si Vice Governor Jose Riano.
Ayon kay Police Captain Ledilyn Ambonan, spokeperson ng Romblon PPO, ang nasabing promotion ceremony ay sabayang ginanap sa buong bansa.
Samantala, 7 namang Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) mula sa probinsya ng Romblon ang opisyal ng na-promote ngayong araw sa Police Regional Office MIMAROPA sa Camp Efigenio C. Navarro, Calapan City sa pamamagitan ng lateral entry.
Ito ay sina PLT Rosie Galus, PLT Eric Herald Faigao, PLT Jerson Mapola, PLT Mark Anthony Encarnacion, PLT Rio Frane, at PLT Albert Jure Fernandez.
Sa hiwalay na programa sa Camp Crame, sinabi ni PNP chief, Gen. Oscar Albayalde, na ‘these technical service and line officers were appointed to the entry level rank of Police Lieutenant and Police Captain, according to their professional qualifications as lawyers, doctors, dentists, chemists, psychologists, criminologists, information technology officers, medical technologists and nurses’.
