“By the end of the year, maaaring mag-improve pa ang data. Last year, 60 to 70 percent lang for the whole year. But this year, hindi pa tapos ang quarter ay tumaas na ang bilang ng mga kababaihan natin na gumagamit ng modern family method (By the end of the year, the data could further improved. Last year, there was 60 to 70 percent increase for the whole year. But this year, the quarter has not ended and yet the number of women using modern family method has already increased),” pahayag ni Medrano.
If they are not safe and their side effects are dangerous, they would have been gone a long time ago from the market),” pahayag nito.
“We still recognize the best method of family planning is abstinence. Yon lang abstinence po sa lahat ng family planning method ang effective 100 percent para hindi mabuntis (Out of all family planning methods, the most effective 100 percent is abstinence so you won’t get pregnant),” dagdag pa ni Dr. Medrano.
