DOLE, RTWPB approve new minimum wage rates in Mimaropa region

More than two years after the issuance of the last minimum wage adjustment under Wage Order No. IV-B-07 and after several consultations/public hearings conducted in the five provinces of the region, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Mimaropa through the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) recently approved the new wage order prescribing new minimum wage rates in the entire region.

Under the new wage order, wage increases shall be made in tranches. Upon effectivity of Wage Order No. RB-MIMAROPA-08 or 15 days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation, a P5 increase shall be implemented...

Department of Health (DOH) – MIMAROPA (Oriental/Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) yesterday completed a three-day strict Food Inspector Training (FIT) Program for 40 Sanitary Inspectors (SI) of various municipalities from the five provinces of the region which was held from August 15-17, 2017 at the Luxent Hotel in Timog, Quezon City.
