Sinampahan na ng kasong murder ang riding-in-tandem na kalaunan ay napag-alamang pulis na sangkot sa pagpatay sa isang crime watch leader ng Gloria, Oriental Mindoro nitong gabi ng October 09.

Kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Inspector Markson Almeranez, hepe ng Socorro, Oriental Mindoro at si Police Inspector Magdaleno Pimentel Jr., miyembro naman ng Oriental Mindoro Police Public Safety Company (PPSC).

Pinagbabaril umano nina Pimentel at Almeranez ang biktimang si Zenaida Luz, chairperson ng isang crime watch group sa rehiyon, bandang alas-11 ng gabi sa harap ng kanyang pamamahayay sa Brgy. Maligaya, Gloria, Oriental Mindoro nitong gabi ng October 09.
