Matapos na maglingkod bilang spokeperson ng Philippine National Police sa panahon ni dating Pangulong Aquino, nilagay ngayon ni PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa bilang Acting Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 4B (MIMAROPA) si Chief Supt. Wilben M. Mayor.

Si Chief Supt. Mayor ay tubong San Agustin, Tablas Island, Romblon, isang abogado at miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class 1985.

Bago nag-assume si Mayor bilang tagapagsalita, nagsilbi itong deputy chief of staff sa Manila Police District.

Naging police provincial director din ito sa Benguet at chief of police ng Valenzuela.

Department of Health (DOH) – MIMAROPA (Oriental/Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) conducted a one-day training for basic physical therapy exercises to family caregivers of patients of the Damian Reyes Provincial Hospital under the telemedicine program in the province of Marinduque.

“The importance of this training is to impart the essential therapy exercises to family caregivers so that they may continue the various exercises being given to the patient at the hospital and resume it at home after they are discharged,” Regional Director Eduardo C. Janairo emphasized.

Department of Health (DOH) – MIMAROPA (Oriental/Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) provided additional twenty more bicycles to Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) in the provinces of Occidental Mindoro and Marinduque.

A total of 45 bicycles were already provided for BHWs in MIMAROPA to be used in their delivery of basic health services in far flung communities where transportation is limited and roads are narrow. “These are the only means of transportation that is fast and efficient which can convey our BHWs to reach distant areas timely,” Regional Director Eduardo C. The Taguig City Prosecutor Office recently recommended the filing of criminal charges against a non-government organization (NGO) for spreading malicious information against Hinatuan Mining Corp. (HMC), an affiliate of Nickel Asia Corp. (NAC).

In a three-page resolution, Taguig City Prosecutor Archimedes Manabat found probable cause to indict Yolanda Esguerra, Candy Hidalgo, Edel Garingan and Victor Morillo, officers of Philippines Misereor Partnership, Inc. (PMPI) for cybercrime libel.
