Huli sa magkahiwalay na operasyon ng mga tauhan ng Puerto Princesa City Police Office (CPO) ang isang nurse ng call center at dating barangay kagawad na sangkot umano sa iligal na droga nitong Sabado, February 10.

Unang naaresto bandang alas-5 ng hapon ang nurse na kinilalang si Edgar Allan Pagayona, 37-taong gulang, sa isang buy-bust operation na ikinasa laban rito.

Nakuha umano sa kay Pagayona ang isang sachet ng pinaghihinalaang shabu, apat na piraso umano ng pekeng P100 bill, isang motorsiklo, at isang cellphone.

Karumal dumal ang sinapit ng isang magsasaka sa Sitio Carlos, Barangay Bacungan, Puerto Princesa City Palawan nitong hapon ng Linggo, February 11, matapos na hatawin ng palokol ng makailang beses sa katawan.

Kinilala lamang ng Puerto Princesa Police Office ang biktima na si 'Alyas Bunso'.

Lumalabas sa imbestigasyon ng Puerto Princesa Police Office na habang pauwi na umano si galing sa inuman si Melchor Dacanay ay bigla umano itong hinamn ng suntukan ng kainuman niyang si Alyas Bunso.

Department of Health (DOH) – MIMAROPA (Oriental/Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) and the Development Academy of the Philippines yesterday signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the assessment and evaluation of the drug rehabilitation programs conducted in the region.
